The goal of program-centered administrative consultation is primarily focused on evaluating organizational functioning. This approach emphasizes the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the program as a whole, rather than concentrating solely on individual performance or client outcomes. By assessing how well the organization operates, it allows for identification of areas needing improvement, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively, and that all aspects of the program are aligned with its goals. Evaluating organizational functioning is integral for understanding how various components interact and influence the success of the program in serving clients and fulfilling its mission. This broader perspective provides valuable insights that can lead to improvements at multiple levels within the organization.
